We are two incredibly dorky best friends, Tara & Annie, designing and creating jewelry and art for everyone. Annie started Spiffing in 2008 as a hobby, and we've evolved from simple beaded jewelry all the way up to engagement rings. We're a couple of nerdy fashionistas, and we like to create pieces that are gorgeous and practical, and sometimes subtly geeky.
A lot of what we do is custom work, and we absolutely love getting to make one of a kind pieces with our clients own words of love, friendship, or inspiration. Each custom piece is hand stamped or engraved with something that means so much to it's recipient, and we love that we get to make things that are cherished and full of heart. (Whether it's the latitude and longitude coordinates of where a husband proposed to his wife, an inspiring quote, or just a weird inside joke between a few friends.)
We're obsessed with learning, and we are always discovering new techniques and materials that we can use to create more things that make us happy, and we're starting a quest to become full-fledged jewelers within the next few years, with the hope of being able to create personalized pieces that go far beyond simple hand-stamping.
