Stacey Mahsetky

Stacey Mahsetky was born in New Mexico and has lived in Arizona and Oklahoma before settling in Washington State. She currently maintains her full time art studio in Renton, Washington and is in the process of expanding her territory to include a part-time art studio in Mesa, Arizona. She has been involved in the arts since she was a young child and is mostly self taught. She began her specialty as a mixed media artist in 2009 and 2 years ago decided to take her life time passion for the arts from a part time hobby to a full time profession. From August 2014 to February 2015 her collection of 35 plus paintings was on display in a local establishment. She also has many pieces on display in several private collections and is currently seeking an art gallery to represent her newest collection. Her diverse cultural background has had a positive influence on her unique, bold style as an artist. She is primarily recognized for her extensive use of textured medium which helps lend a powerful and energetic feel to each piece of work she creates. Her main objective is to stimulate her audience and to provide a sensory experience that uses not only ones sense of sight but also the sense of touch to help bring each viewer closer to the feeling the painting is trying to convey.
