Launched by an artist and surfer, Stan has the vision of an authentic, artisan clothing brand celebrating an alternative in surf culture: one that crosses story-rich artifact with the simple joy of an engaged surfing life.
Stan uses antique found textiles from across the globe, recycling the old and making them into modern workwear style clothes. Along with sustainability, found textiles give every piece a story; exhibited by the remnants of each pieces construct. Stan prides itself on a unique approach to fashion construction using detail oriented techniques of handcraft, mending, quilting and appliqué.
