Visual Art – Edmonton
Hi, my name is Stephanie (aka Sunshine Moon). As far as I can remember, I wanted to be an artist. My entire childhood, I created, in one form or another. At the time, I mostly wrote songs and poems, and sang.... art always got me through tough times. After high school, I had the pleasure to go to college in art at CEGEP du Vieux Montreal, learning sculpting, colour theory, drawing, history of art, and more. While I only got to complete half of the two year program due to life circumstances, it was by far, to this day, one of the best year of my life! As I entered adulthood, I started loosing myself and that eventually took me away from my creativity entirely. A few years ago, I started finding myself again thanks to my work as a spiritual and energy worker, and at the same time, my creativity returned. Today I am completely in alignment with myself and that allows for my creativity to flow in a way I've never experienced before. Most of the time, I channel the art that I do, completely guided by spirit. I'm sure I'm not the only artist who does that, I know it's common for many, I just happen to be aware that I am doing it. My art is also always infused with Reiki energy, as I believe that everything is energy and I only want to be responsible to send good vibes into your life and home... hence why I only do art based on positivity, and while in a good space myself.
