Visual Art – New York - NYC
I am a self-taught artist from Boston but currently living in Washington, D.C. Having lived a very nomadic life, I have had the opportunity of witnessing many different ways of living, which helps shape the overall mood behind my work. I lived in Haiti for 4 years, and during those years, felt a strong tug toward my heritage. There was vibrancy in both in the people around me and the different kinds of art, which made me yearn to draw more vivid and colorful works of art. Being raised by odd, quirky, mysterious, women, I’ve always been fascinated by eclectic and unique personalities. My artwork captures the essence of these women, and the parts of them which make up the fibers of my own being.
