Much of my work revolves around the process, and it's a very cerebral one. I pull things apart, and then reconstruct. I think about form, structure, context, material, and concept. Instinctual mark making is where I find my innate style, like drawing in the dark. I want my art to be art because it speaks about the world, not because it is nice to look at.
