Tempest and Serenity

My name is Erika Tempest, Owner and Designer of Tempest and Serenity.I am a native of New York City. My passion for designing started at a very young age. I attended the High School of Fashion Industries then continued my education at the Fashion Institute of Technology. I have over 15 years working in the fashion industry for various world reknowned brands, but my dream has always been to launch a line that represents my true nature; combining all of the elements that inspire me. Being a devotee of the NYC Gothic underground scene for a long time and combining my unconditional love for leather, Tempest and Serenity was born. I have always believed that there is a sense of serenity that comes from embracing your true nature. Tempest and Serenity is a handcrafted leather jewelry and accessory line that blurs the lines between dark and mysterious, elegant and feminine. This brand was created for “the ones” who are not afraid to be different, bold and rebellious with their style. My vision is to bring originality back to fashion; a sense of fantasy and empowerment by self-expression and most importantly creating freedom through fashion.
