Kalli Therinae is an indie pop singer songwriter from Salt Lake City, Utah. Combining retro style crisp and clean singer-songwriting with the edginess of today's sounds, Kalli's songs as unique as the story that shapes her. Think Lana Del Rey meets Celine Dion. Born in Houston, Texas to a Greek immigrant father and Utah raised Mormon mother Kalli's life story is as unique as the music she writes. Growing up she moved around a lot and was raised all over the world from Texas to Greece and France. In Europe as a child singer-songwriter Kalli gained recognition for her precocious skills performing in festivals around the continent. However, all of this success was secretly shadowed by the fact that it was happening while she had been taken illegally overseas by her father and against US custodial orders, away from her mother. Kalli is a true survivor of overseas child abduction and a tumultuous childhood. Because of the path Kalli's life has led her down through the ups and downs and moves all around Kalli's unique experiences shape her art. As an adult now, Kalli hopes to use her music to inspire others to overcome, make a difference and live their best life. Songs like BiPolarity which inspire her listeners to leave abusive relationships and situations and Falling into Space which is about the calm after the storm and finding your new way in life after all of which you knew was taken from you.
