As The Pen And The Pangolin, Sean Vidal Edgerton creates visuals to raise awareness of unfamiliar endangered and threatened species. As a scientific illustrator, infectious disease biologist, and marine mammal necropsy researcher he is inspired by the natural roles of endless forms most beautiful, and most threatened by a rapidly changing climate. Drawing on his pen for visual communication, a pipette for scientific research, and the pangolin for education, awareness and conservation work, Sean is driven by a goal of understanding the diverse world of natural history and progressing effective environmental stewardship from the ground up.
