Taylor Morgan

Taylor Morgan was born in Dallas, TX on December 16, 1989. She has been singing all her life and when she went to high school, she really knew singing was something that she could do for a lifetime. Taylor attended Oklahoma Christian University in the fall of 2009 is when Taylor really got into the music scene. She started to perform at local open mics, jam sessions and at her University events. Ever since then, Taylor has been pursing her dreams and making them into reality. In 2014 she started a benefit concert call “Whispers in The Wind” and ever since then, she has been doing that for three years now; it’s not only a musical concert, it’s for a cause. The proceeds go to the Kidney Foundation. Taylor has been performing for 10 years now. She has performed at House of Blues, Weddings, Comedy shows, RBC, Drugstore cowboy, Prophet Bar and etc. She also traveled outside of Dallas, places such as Tyler, TX, Texarkana and Oklahoma. Her musical influences are Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughn, Jill Scott, India.Arie. & Jazmine Sullivan. Taylor is a combination of Soul, Peace, Love & Delightfulness. One day she hopes to share the stage with some of her influences. Taylor once stated in a blog “I have the opportunity to sing my heart out in front of people and really express my feelings through song and on the stage.” Look out for Taylor Morgan; she has her own music coming out pretty soon.
