Visual Art – Charlotte
I am a young artist simply trying to find my way in the world. After playing competitive soccer my whole life, five years at a division one university, I knew I wanted to take that passion and all the skill sets I acquired from soccer and transfer it into my art. Mixed media allows me to fully express myself in anyway I want. I create digital collages, dog portraits, mixed media canvases, stickers, etc. I also created HelloHomo, greeting cards for the entire LGBTQ+ community and their allies. I am a proud L of LGBTQ+, and I don't feel as if we are represented enough in every day things - such as greeting cards. I wanted to fix that. Using the world around me as inspiration, all I can ask for is for what I create to have some type of impact on the viewer.
