I've been sick most of my life, but recently have healed and now begin the process of remembering myself. My art is about this journey of mine and a similar one of Nature's. The sculptures represent the cycles of life and death and resurrection of new life. They are constructed to honor animals, our guides and inspirations to go beyond the particular physical form we encompass. Part of the proceeds go to helping animals in some way to regain their dignity and vitality. We are all intricately tied by seemingly invisible, delicate strings, each being relying on another in profound ways, yet the connection is challenging for people to grasp its magnitude until balance is disrupted. I grew up in New Jersey on a horse farm until I was about 18. It was in the woods, where I played for many hours creating other worldly adventures and discoveries, that I contracted Lyme disease not once but several times as a child. Finally the journey of sickness is over and I can begin to live
