Michelle O\'Reagan

Fashion – New Orleans

Michelle O’Reagan established TrenDevian after moving to New Orleans and finding her photographic and fine art interests gravitating to apparel design. The thrift shops, streets of amazing antique and vintage shops, and other emerging designers spurred her to schedule some runway shows in 2010 and 2011 and invite a wider audience to see the creations she wore whenever possible. Michelle had begun her love affair with fabric in 2003 when she put on a three person runway show in Baton Rouge with two friends to improve the long boring summer for the entire campus of LSU. Since this latex and vinyl focused beginning, Michelle has turned her interests to natural materials such as jute and cotton as she gears up for a pale sculptural entry to spring Fashion Week 2014 in New Orleans. In the meantime, she is continuing to create opulent art nouveau and renaissance looks including fine buccaneer costumes with her own inventive twists. I have recently won the Wildhouse Fashion Competition, at the Parish Room. This benefitted the Audubon Society. In addition, I was one of the finalists for Sugar Art and Fashion\'s American tour.
