Timothy Thomas Tobin

I work as a carpenter in Boulder, CO. I started painting 6 years ago. Watercolor was the medium I first experimented with. I have since moved away from watercolor painting, and started using acrylic paints... I feel a tremendous amount of passion, and joy when painting. There is also something profoundly healing that happens when I paint.. I see my paintings as an expression of what is happening in my own heart, and mind. The colors I choose are my authentic expression of the moment. When I begin to paint it\'s the mystery, and spontaneity of the moment that inspires me. I like not knowing what the end result will be.. Feeling the transformative power of color develop and change a painting is inspiring. Color is really incredible because it evokes such passion, and feeling in me.
