John Engle ( alias “PRoF: !8o00%” aka “JOHN E:”) is an Artist, Performer, and Prof. from New York (via \"SPACE ”).
Engle has been making art and performing since forever.
Engle has a very prolific range of work in mediums encompassing many forms of art, from visual art & performance to film, music, and mixed media.
Engle studied art and performance at LVA (Las Vegas Academy), as well as student teaching at SFAI (San Francisco Art Institute), NYU (New York University), and the school he founded with “Thee Prof.”, UU (“Universe University”).
Engle created his own art movement and culture/style known as “TURBO REVO!” with a group of individuals known as “THEE PARTEE”. Their motto being: “We put thee ARTE in pARTEe”. The art and culture they create re-presents a mythology of the “Past and Future happening in the Present”.
Engle has traveled and performed worldwide from London to Istanbul, and everywhere in-between, doing live-action inter-active mixed media shows incorporating art, music, film, fashion, comedy, dance, and “edutainment” of all kinds.
Engle has also been a fixture within the nightlife scenes of everywhere he’s lived as a live artist and performer where he creates “ARTEeFACTS” (the name of the art and goods he creates). ARTEeFACTS have been showcased and sold nationwide from art shows to festivals, nightclubs, parties and all types of events.
Prof. John Engle is now taking the far-out underground “Turbo ReEvolutionary!” culture he pioneered and is bringing it above ground to the Earth and heavens above, with love.
