Visual Art – Melbourne
Melbourne born visual artist. Painting and drawing since my early teens, influenced by my art teacher, Elizabeth Gorman. Then Howard Arkley, who replaced my drawing teacher at TAFE. Consequently I completed my Bachelors degree in Visual Art, where I was taught by some of the best artists.
As a teacher I gave as much of myself and my experience to my many students, teaching was an extremely rewarding and enjoyable experience. In 2013, following the death of my father I decided to concentrate on my own work. Working mainly on canvas as an abstract expressionist. My drawings represent female strength, vulnerability, peace and happiness. They come from different stages of my life and are connected with surreal dreams.
