Photography – Seattle
Vanessa was born in a small town in Georgia, like most other small towns in the rural, American South. Her childhood was spent leaving it, then returning to it, and then leaving it again.
At age 18, the leaving was for life at sea and she spent the next 7 years on various ships in various oceans. It was during this time that she developed her love for photography. Her work is inspired by her travels, as well as her Southern upbringing. She is now happy to call the Pacific Northwest home.
