Vika E Fifita

I paint my own day-today experiences and everyday struggles. I don’t try to push anything profound out of my work nor do I try and provoke. Bright, big, heavily textured and naïve; all of my works are an extension of myself and memories put to paint. Vika Emma Fifita is a painter based in Melbourne, but raised in George Town, Tasmania. She completed her Bachelor of Contemporary Arts, majoring in painting, at the University of Tasmania. She has participated in many Artist in Residence Programs and is a represented artist for Handmark Gallery, Tasmania.
