Cai (he/him) is a content creator and poet from Toronto, Canada. Inspired by his breakup at the end of 2021, Cai’s mission is to help people going through heartbreak feel less alone in the world by sharing his own feelings and personal experiences. He started his brand @WhyWithCai in early 2022 and has since grown his audience to nearly 200,000 followers on Instagram. On September 14th of this year, Cai self-published his first book, “Letters to Your Ex,” which compiles 139 letters written to exes from 41 different countries. These letters were selected from an impressive 20,307 submissions collected after a one-month open call. In addition to his digital presence, Cai hosts events that foster connection and support among individuals navigating their own heartbreaks. These gatherings provide a safe space for sharing stories and emotions, reinforcing the idea that no one is alone in their struggles. Through his creative endeavours, Cai continues to inspire and uplift others, transforming personal pain into a collective narrative of love and healing.
