Visual Art – Orlando

I currently live and work in Orlando, Florida. I grew up in Miami and attended one of the top art high schools in the country, Design and Architecture High. While there I was one of the pioneer students to achieve the certification for the entertainment technology program which focused on graphics, web, and film. After graduating high school I secured a Fine Arts degree from the College of Creative Studies (CCS) in Detroit, MI with a minor in graphic arts. My journey brought me to Orlando where a truth birthed in me, one that speaks so eloquently and is appropriately summed up in one of my favorite quotes: \"Art is the only way of running away without leaving home.\"  My ever changing work has morphed into a semi-abstract personification. The canvases I use are almost always unique to properly showcase my style. Using a traditional fine art technique fused with an urban flare my work takes turns speaking jazz in a midnight setting, and bleeding emotions from an animalistic perspective. Both exclaim that we, in our own rite are unique instruments; each no more or less significant than the other. Like a circle of life we play harmonies so beautiful the message cannot be ignored. My goal in life has become to help evoke an emotion, a memory, or an image which reminds us all our condition is consistently mobile and in that movement we choose what colors to dab on this canvas of life.
