Timothy Zukas

I am a Baltimore, MD born and raised artist who has been painting since the age of 5. I am a father of 2 boys, ages 10 and 16 months and support them both and my girlfriend as a professional artist. At an early age I was enrolled in several gifted and talented art classes which I remained in until I graduated high school. In addition to these classes, I was self taught. I had the opportunity to attend formal classes as an adult at CCBC in Catonsville and Worwick College in Salisbury. I began seeing success with selling my work as early as age 18. I have hung in several Maryland and Delaware gallery shows, restaurants and painted murals for Westminster High School. I have also painted murals for private home owners. I have won multiple graffiti contests in South Florida including the ArtServe Redeye event in Ft. Lauderdale in 2009 and an event sponsored by Montana Spray Paint in Deerfield Beach, also in 2009. My work involves pieces created with spray paint or acrylics and occasionally a mix of both. As a professional commissioned artist I have had the luxury of painting what my heart tells me and what my clients request, so my work has some range and diversity.
